
According to the statistics released from the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) on their June Market Update, the month of June 2020 surprisingly showed a strong recovery. On a month-over-month basis, June sales were up substantially compared to May. June 2020 sales increased by over 80 % compared to May 2020.
Sales were just -1.4 % lower compared to the same period last year, Contrary to the listings were up 2.1 % compared with the same period last year. The average selling price increased by 11.9 % compared to last year. The following is the breakdown of the real estate activity during the month of June compared with the same period in 2019:
